COVID-19 UPDATE: Dear valued patients we are happy to announce that we will be reopening our office on May 29th We have implemented stringent practice procedures and precautions to keep our patients and staff safe. Our staff will be wearing additional PPE equipment such as gowns, masks, surgical caps and face shields. All treatment rooms will continue to be cleaned and disinfected between patients following the Guidelines for infection control in the dental care setting. Dental appointments will be staggered to limit the number of patients in the office at one time. Patients may be asked to move the time of their appointments to allow for the new staggered schedule and we may also ask some patients to reschedule nonurgent dental treatment in order to take care of patients with the most urgent needs. Patients with appointments will be asked to call 734-451-7440 upon arrival to let us know that you are here, remaining in your car so that a staff member can come to you to perform a patient screening. We also ask all patients to wear a mask when entering the office. Due to these additional measures and precautions, we will be adding a PPE fee of ten dollars to all dental appointments.

Thank you in advance for your patience during this pandemic. Due to being shut down for two and a half months we are behind and will do our best to accommodate as many patients as possible. Our goal is to provide you with the highest quality of care in the safest environment.

Thank You
Your Advanced Family Dental Team!

Below is a list of questions you should read and answer prior to your appointment:

1. Do you have a fever, or have you felt hot or feverish recently?
2. Are you having shortness of breath or other difficulties breathing?
3. Do you have a cough?
4. Are you experiencing any other flu-like symptoms, such as gastrointestinal upset, headache, or fatigue?
5. Have you experienced a recent loss of taste or smell?
6. Are you in contact with any confirmed COVID-19 positive patients? Patients who are well but who have a sick family member at home with COVID-19 should consider postponing elective treatment.

Positive responses to any of these questions would require you to postpone treatment. If you answered no to these questions, but are over 60, or have heart disease, lung disease, kidney disease, diabetes, or any auto-immune disorder, you may want to consider postponing/rescheduling your appointment for elective treatment.
